Makeup Remover
I haven’t bought eye make up remover in years. I simply warm a bit of coconut oil between palms and rub my face and eyes. I then wipe the oil away with a damp cloth or use my regular face wash.
Mix together equal parts coconut oil and baking soda. You can also add a few drops of peppermint essential oils for a fresh flavor.
I use coconut oil straight up from the container to moisturize my entire body right after shower. It might feel a bit oily at first, but it will get absorbed. You may also whip up a body butter using coconut oil as a base. Just combine coconut oil with a few drops of essential oil (I love lemongrass and wild orange) and whisk it until it becomes fluffier. Spoon it into an airtight container and use daily.
I’ve always wanted to try using coconut oil and baking soda for toothpaste but I haven’t quite worked up the courage yet. Do you use any typical store bought toothpaste in addition to the coconut oil toothpaste? Great post by the way!
