CHAMBERLAIN HOTEL WEST HOLLYWOOD

Our third and last night we changed the scenery from the beaches of Santa Monica to the hills of West Hollywood. The Chamberlain West Hollywood is a hotel located in the centre of West Hollywood. The hotel has 114 suites, each with a private balcony and a gas-log fireplace. Despite it’s central location it stands in a quiet residential street but still within walking distance to the Sunset Strip and the famous rock clubs there ( we had done our fair share of driving already and wanted to explore the town walking).
Our art deco style suite was around $300 for the night and had plenty of space. The rooftop had nice pool and sun lounging area which we didn’t even have time to use, restaurant exclusively for hotel guests serving contemporary food with an atmosphere of a classic French bistro. It is described as “an intimate hideaway featuring dramatic pendant lighting, floor-to-ceiling windows and a stylish patio with soothing fountain sets and native foliage shading”. We did not eat at the restaurant, but ordered room service for breakfast which was allright. Just granola, fruits and berries for me. For dinner we ventured out to Thai Town since husband claims California serves best Thai food outside Thailand, and it turns out he was right. For this once.
Thank you Chamberlain!

I must admit I haven’t experienced L.A. beyond Venice and Santa Monica so my knowledge is based on those two areas only. But I do love L.A. a whole lot. Last time we stayed in Santa Monica mostly and one night in West Hollywood.  […]
