Day Trip to the Exotic Long Branch Beach, NJ

Friday was sunny and warm and we decided to head out to somewhere for a day of relaxation. And this is where we ended up. Palm trees, miles of white sand beaches, great array of restaurants and bars by the boardwalk and just being, enjoying life.

You would think we hopped on the plane and flew somewhere in the Caribbean, but no. We took the train and two hours later, here we were; exotic southern New Jersey. 🙂

Beach is the perfect place for one of my favorite activities; daydreaming. You’re sitting around at the beach with no commitments and nothing demand your attention and that’s a great time to just hang out and daydream a little bit. Envision what you want your life to look like in five or ten years, what you want your relationships to be or where you wish you could travel if there were no time/money limitations. At the moment I’m dreaming of yoga retreat in Costa Rica before my next birthday…
A daydream is a meal at which images are eaten.  Some of us are gourmets, some gourmands, and a good many take their images precooked out of a can and swallow them down whole, absent-mindedly and with little relish.  ~W.H. Auden

Hauskaa viikonloppua sulle! Me lahdetaan Philadelphiaan viikonlopuksi!

  3. Greetings, just wanted to share with you that we had a great vacation at Marina de Bolnuevo in August of this year. We flew into San Javier and hired a car from the airport for the short drive to Bolnuevo. The beaches are superb, most of them awarded the Blue Flag. The restaurents were great, with paella on the beach a delight and managed a day on the nudist beach there. Very liberating. We also visited the Big Guns, The Roman Mines and the Sand sculptures. Will be returning there again in 2018. Thanks for reading Tony.
