We had an amazing day last Saturday cruising around Manhattan and back up to Ossining. Weather was just perfect, hot, but the breeze kept us comfortable. Our captain was brave enough to let me drive the boat and it was quite enjoyable after I got rid of my fear of high speed.
There were big waves in front of the Statue of Liberty so we were holding on to the rails pretty hard in order to not fall overboard. But we got great view of the Lady Liberty up close so it was totally worth it. It was actually quite fun, like being in Six Flags.
Our gracious host had made some Bellinis, Mimosas, cupcakes, fruit salad, grilled salmon and what not. We had everything one could need. Thank you Saara!
We ended the evening in Ossining where the boat rests and had appetizers at The Boathouse harbor restaurant. Beautiful ending for a beautiful day.
