Home Alone 5

It has been wonderful Christmas time. I’ve spent it alone this year, well, with Miina and Moses, since hubs flew to NJ to spend time with his family. We’ve been watching documentaries, movies, wearing onesies all day long, listening to loud music and singing, eating healthy(ish) foods+ tons of chocolate. Also, decorated gingerbread houses in Berkeley, took nice walks by the beach (it’s not even cold here in East Bay!), cleaned the house, went through all the cabinets in the kitchen and threw out all the old stuff, and just decluttering everything in our home.

Besides the tree, I have another trick up my sleeve to make any home festive. Diffusing essential oils! I’ve gotten few oils from DoTerra to mainly clean the air (2 cats in a small apartment makes it smell like a zoo sometimes), but bought holiday scent to celebrate the season. This is a great non-toxic way to make your place smell delicious, clean the air as well as the benefits of aromatherapy. Besides diffusing the oils I also take them internally. Every morning and night I take a drop of Frankincense under my tongue for cellular support, and add a couple of drops of lemon oil to my water at work which helps me to drink more.
