1.Thrive Market

My go-to online store for health foods and other products like non-toxic cleaning products and laundry detergent is Thrive Market. This time I got kelp noodles, dates, sprouted quinoa, coconut flour, laundry detergent, coconut aminos, Gomasio, thyme, sprouted organic non-gmo popping corn, ghee, raw apple cider vinegar, nutritional yeast and the coconut oil was a free gift from them. 2. Passion Planner

Passion Planner travels with me where ever I go. I write down my ideas, to-do-lists, scribble, plan my days and life in it. I love that it has all day from 6am-11pm divided in 30 min increments  so I can actually plan my day hour by the hour and use my time as efficiently as possible (very helpful for procrastinators like myself!).


3. Mrs. Meyer’s cleaning products

I’ve been going non-toxic not only with my food, personal care products and make-up, but also the cleaning products we use at our home. I came especially conscious about it since we brought home our two fur babies 10 years ago. I didn’t want them to get sick from toxic sprays, bleaches and other cleaning products. I’ve found quite a few wonderful brands, but absolutely love Mrs. Meyers dish washing soap and multi-surface cleaner. I also must mention the heavenly smelling laundry detergent from Molly’s Suds that I just started using and fell in love.


4. Tahini

Tahini is one of my pantry/refrigerator staples. We always have it at home. It’s made of sesame seeds and therefore rich in calcium and has a consistency similar to peanut butter. There’s plenty of ways to use tahini. You can mix it with some lemon juice, salt and pepper (and hot sauce) and dip raw veggies in it, spread it on toast, drizzle over falafel, veggie burgers, baked potatoes, make salad dressings (like Goddess Dressing), Baba Ghanoush or multipurpose Tarator sauce.

Tarator Sauce recipe: Add 4 cloves minced garlic to ½ cup tahini, ½ cup lemon juice, and ¼ cup parsley. Pulse in a food processor until combined. Drizzle on everything.


5. Stone fruit

Peaches and pears are in season in Northern California and I’ve spent a small fortune buying and eating them. There’s so many different varieties of peaches and of course I have to have them all. Our farmers market has them organic so I have no reason not to buy them, even they’re priced really high. I like to eat them as snacks, throw them in smoothies and add in my salads.
