NYC FILES: CHELSEA MARKET

 The Chelsea Market.
Welcome to one of my favorite markets in NYC, The Chelsea Market. My first time here was in 2004 when a date brought me here for dinner. I just love strolling around with no rush, try different things (so much good food here!) and sit down for a juice from One Lucky Duck and people watch. My favorite stores at Chelsea Market are Posman Books (I mean who doesn’t love book stores!), all the bakeries, spice and tea shop, nut store (I’m nuts for nuts!) and a gift store that has everything one could desire, especially their pantry items are amazing, so it’s perfect for foodies. Yes, it’s pricey, but you can really find anything you want. I often come here to find birthday presents for people from babies to grandmothers. Also, great NYC-themed items to get as souvenirs. The Chelsea Market.
Word of warning: I’d avoid this place on the weekends and during lunch time. Chelsea Market gets really packed and uncomfortable those time.
