Today’s smoothie had handful of turnip greens (remember to rotate your greens!), 1 banana, 1 apple, 1 orange, 1 celery stalk, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 4 tbsp hemp protein powder, 1 tbsp maca and 1 tsp ashwagandha and 1 tsp spirulina. And some filtered water of course. Vitamix it up and enjoy!
Before I drank the smoothie I had room temperature water with juice from half lemon and a red ruby grapefruit. I love grapefruits. Always enjoy fruits on an empty stomach. Here’s why: fruit digests extremely quickly. So when you eat fruit after concentrated foods, it gets held up, you get bloated and the nutrients aren’t being absorbed as efficiently.
