CHIA PUDDING BREAKFAST BOWL

chia pudding breakfast bowl
Another wondeful “just throw everything together” breakfast that’s filled with protein and Omega 3. You can customize your chia pudding bowl in so many different ways so make it different every time.

Chia Pudding Breakfast Bowl

 2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
1/3 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Stir together all the ingredients. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until the chia seeds puff and expand. I normally do this the night before so I can have it for breakfast in the morning.

Pudding may be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Before serving, stir once and spoon into serving dishes.

Top with:
Walnuts
Grapes
Banana Chips
Raw Cacao Nibs
Cinnamon
Bee Pollen

Or whatever your heart desires!

  1. Yum! Sounds delicious. I've been thinking about the bee pollen, does it cause allergic reaction if a person is allergic to pollen in general?

    1. Yes, I've read that it may cause serious allergic reaction in people allergic to pollen or bee stings (and sometimes in people with no known allergies or sensitivities) so I'd be very careful and start by trying just a tiny amounts at first to see if it suits you.

    2. Thanks for the advice! I think I won't try it, I can't have even flowers with pollen at home atm. I wish I could, it seems to have so many benefits for the health.
