TODAY’S SWAMP GREEN SMOOTHIE

I’m so loving my new Vitamix and been making minimum of two smoothies a day when I normally just have one green smoothie in the morning. It’s a great way to keep me from going hungry most day and I haven’t really been craving for anything warm to eat(maybe it’s the spring in the air…). These past two days I’ve only had one warm meal a day and that’s dinner. Like today I had my “swamp green” smoothie for breakfast around 9am. Then around 2pm I had a “pretty pink smoothie” (cactus fruit, strawberries, almond milk) and dinner is served around 7pm.  In between I’ve been munching on some raw almonds. Just because they are so good. I’m thinking of doing some kind of short smoothie detox if I can find some information on it.
This morning’s green smoothie had celery, kale, apple, banana, cactus fruit, spirulina and hemp protein powder. Good and sweet.
This little fella has been freaking me out all day by being scared, hiding and running around the house with his tail down, stopping and staring at something. It’s 4pm now and he has finally calmed down and sleeping. Must’ve been one of our spirit friends or family visiting. I felt no presence whatsoever, but I know my feline friends are way more sensitive to that than us humans. But now, just sleep kitty.

  1. I need to try and mix some kale in the smoothies, this looks really good (and the green color doesn't scare me since I love all greens). I had a yellow smoothies this morning with frozen mango and banana, orange juice, one lemon and water (plus maca powder). It was super good and filling!

    1. Glad you've found smoothies as part of your healthy lifestyle. Kale is my favorite because it's so inexpensive (even organic) and it's such nutrition powerhouse. I just recently read that you need to rotate the greens you put in your smoothies/juices. So keep switching between kale, spinach, romaine etc in order to get the best health benefits from them.     1. Hyva ettei sun tarvinnut uutta ostaa sinne muuttaessa. Ne kun ei mitaan hirvean edullisia ole. Mutta toi on kylla ihan paras. Oon tehnyt kaksi smoothieta paivassa, tehtiin yksi paiva jopa satay-kastiketta. Ihana harveli. Niin onnellinen etta tama auttaa mua elamaan entista terveellisemmin. 🙂
