Quality time with my cats

The other night husband and I were watching a TV show called “My cat from hell” and got very impressed by a stray cat that learned to sit on command in a very short period of time. There and then I decided that our cats should know how to do that.

Our cats are so dog-like already (beg for treats, drink from the toilet bowl, play catch, greet you with loud meows when coming home and so on). There were no instant results here, but we’ll keep working on it. Cats sleep an average 16 hours a day and when they don’t, you got to make sure they get enough exercise. They chase each other around the house, usually as soon as we go to bed at 10pm.

I play with my cats every day, no matter how pressed on time I am. Even if it’s just 5 minutes. Everyone has 5 minutes to dedicate for some play time. When you look at what cats do in the wild, it is obvious why they need to play. Play releases anxiety and boredom, creates a good feeling and bonding, as well as gives them healthy dose of exercise.

Your cat deserves it, right?

  1. that's so sweet! your cats are super cute. I used to have a rabbit who thought he was, well I'm not sure what. Instead of hiding under things which rabbits tend to do, this one always sat in the middle of the kitchen table where he could see everything that was going on. so funny. btw I am oh so loving what I assume is your apartment. totally amazing.

    1. Thank you! I adore them like crazy. Or so my husband says :)We are actually living in a townhouse right now, until July, and then, who knows. Our living situation is still a bit uncertain. Not sure where we want to live. We both would like to move somewhere warmer… Our townhouse is super high, 3 floors with high ceilings plus this loft where we like to play because it's empty and the warmest place in the house. It opens up to my husband's "man cave" so we all share this space quite harmoniously. Quite.

  2. Great that you have time for your lovely pets<3 (and hubby;))
I'm sure they (cats & hubby) appreciate it a lot.

    Have a great weekend!
